Jonathan Hollar – Chief Operating Officer
Jonathan has a diverse aviation background that he began at the age of 16 while still attending high school. He started by flying in single-pilot cargo operations then went onto flying with a crew and passengers with the fractional corporate airlines. After working for several companies, he saw the same flaws with each of them, so he set out to create a “new age” way of aircraft operations which lead to Hera Flight. Jonathan holds the highest FAA certifications which includes an Airline Transport Jet Pilot’s License with type ratings in King Air, Piaggio, LearJet, LearJet 60, Citation X, Gulfstream III, IV and Gulfstream 550 aircraft and has logged over 13,000 flight hours as a Captain. He is also a Commercial Helicopter and Sea Plane Captain.
Jonathan has extensive knowledge and experience in every aspect of private aviation. Additional examples of Jonathan’s high standards include: completion of several Olympic Triathlon competitions and has also qualified for the Olympic Trials. Jonathan holds degrees in Aeronautics and Aviation Business from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and strives to promote aviation; always mentoring fellow pilots in their careers. When he’s not traveling the globe, he’s helping his beautiful wife raise their three amazing daughters.

Joe Fackler – Director of Maintenance
Joe began his career in aviation decades ago in Portland, Oregon. While in school full time, Joe worked after class at the local flight school and absorbed as much as he could from the veteran mechanics who were eager to pass on their knowledge. Once graduated he quickly was hired by a local repair station and air ambulance charter company where he continued to absorb knowledge and gain experience. From that point on he has always worked in the part 135 industry and understands the importance of getting the aircraft back in the air as quickly and safely as possible. Joe is calm under pressure and leads by example for his maintenance team. He is active IA mechanic, part 107 drone pilot, and Private Pilot. He is passionate about aviation and is excited to support and see Hera Flight expand and grow.
While he is not working, Joe is part of a volunteer pilot group and is active in the Air Care Alliance where supports disaster relief work within the state of Florida as well as the Bahama and Caribbean islands, not only as a pilot, but also supporting maintenance on the relief aircraft. He is supported by his wife of many years who is also involved with disaster relief efforts.
